Thank you to all who joined us at the 2019 Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats Factory Rendezvous at Roche Harbor Resort on San Juan Island. Here’s a fun fact, this rendezvous is the largest event that’s ever been held at Roche Harbor. This year, we packed the house again with 218 boats. We often talk about the size of this event but what we really love about this gathering is that, despite having 500+ people in attendance, it still feels small and intimate.
The sun was out, and spirits were high for all three days of boats, fun, food, and friends. We had a fantastic seminar lineup in the learning center this year. Yamaha and Volvo both presented basic maintenance seminars. We had an exterior boat maintenance seminar taught by Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats’ very own, Marco Arias. We also had several cruising-orientated seminars like Mark Bunzel’s “Weather - making a go or no-go decision based on the forecast”. The San Juan Island EMT’s Cruising First Aidwas popular and “Entering the U.S. by boat” by the US Customs & Border Protection team was very informative. We laughed until we cried watching as Joe Black the hypnotist made 12 Ranger Tug & Cutwater Boat owners dance around the stage, crawl and dive around the tables like spies, and admit their secret love for Tom Cruise. The new boat display was a popular spot this year as we debuted new models from both Ranger Tugs & Cutwater. Cutwater was showcasing the new C-24 Center Walkaround (C-24 CW), C-24 Dual Console (C-24 DC), C-32 Coupe (C-32 C), and C-32 Command Bridge (C-32 CB). Ranger Tugs was showing off the new R-25.
