Ranger Tugs launches the all new R-25 at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The new Ranger Tugs R-25 is a feature-packed cruiser designed for comfort, ease of use, quality and FUN! For over 60 years Ranger Tugs has been building boats that have the accommodations, layouts and versatility boaters want. The R-25 combines a wealth of experience gained over many years, with modern design and technology, to provide boaters the best in handling, seakeeping, and performance.

The Ranger Tugs R-25 is powered by a single Yamaha 250hp Outboard driving a modern hull that is fast and efficient whether planing or running at displacement speeds. A convenient bow thruster makes docking safe, easy and calm.

The Ranger Tugs R-25 features our signature Clear-Path swim platform which allows boaters to walk past the outboards on level non-skid decking with no outboard well, rigging tubes or hoses to trip over. Heavy-duty stainless-steel handrails provide stability for boarding, fishing, watersports, and safe dinghy access. A retractable swim ladder conveniently stows in the platform for easy entry from the water or the ground when trailering. The swim platform continues aft, parallel to the outboard providing unprecedented access for easy boarding whether side or stern tied. Built in mini fenders aft add protection when backing into the dock and for dinghy boarding.

The fully equipped helm has great visibility all around with opening side windows, hatches and skylights above. Controls are easy to access as is the standard Garmin 1242xsv MFD/GPS chartplotter with sonar and a DSC capable VHF radio. The galley is conveniently located aft of the helm and adjacent to the cockpit and dinette for easy access and features a 12V refrigerator freezer, deep stainless sink with hot and cold water, microwave and single burner stove. A private master cabin forward includes reading lights, a flat screen TV, hanging storage, and conveniently converts to a seating area with an additional table. The enclosed head features a frosted skylight, 120V outlet, sink, electric marine head, and shower. The high-low dining table seats 4 and can convert to an extra sleeping area. A mid cabin below the dinette sleeps two. The forward seat’s backrest flips to provide forward facing passenger seating while under way. The aft dinette seat also flips to provide additional cockpit seating through the opening window-hatch.

The large cockpit is equally suited for fishing or entertaining. Features include, rod holders, flip down seating, a cockpit wash down system, Fusion stereo speakers, and a convenient transom door to the swim platform. The Ranger Tugs R-25 is sold Ready-To Cruise meaning it is packed with standard features like an inverter, battery charger, solar panel, shore power w 30 amp chord, raw water washdown system, electric marine head with holding tank, deck outlet and macerator, anchor, chain and rode, a windlass with bow and helm controls, a cockpit Bimini top and so much more.
