Happy Birthday to us! We are ecstatic to be celebrating our 60th anniversary this year. The Ranger Fiberglass Boat Company opened its doors in Kent, Washington in 1958. We are proud to say that we are still building fiberglass boats in the same location today. When you walk in the front doors of the WWII-era Quonset hut that has served as our main office for many years, you will see two photos of our company namesake, Ranger the dog.
The Ranger Tugs factory in Kent has built fiberglass dinghies, canoes, sailboats, powerboats and MANY other products over the years. There have been (and still are) many wonderfully talented individuals who have shared their passion and skills with us. We could have never made it 60 years without their hard work and dedication to quality boatbuilding.
Boating is in our blood and we are fortunate to do what we love. We love building such an exciting and beautiful product. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a boat from us, joined us on a cruise, or spent time chatting with us on the dock. It's been an exciting and rewarding ride.
One way that we are celebrating this milestone is by throwing the world's largest birthday party (in the form of a rendezvous) at the most beautiful place in the world, Roche Harbor Marina and Resort on San Juan Island, WA. Registration is open but space is limited. If you want to join us for the 50's-themed (our company was founded in 1958, get it?) multi-day event full of food, friends, fun, learning, and laughing please sign up now here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2018-ranger-tugs-cutwater-boats-factory-rendezvous-fabulous-50s-registration-42513830010
