A fun and informative hub to connect with other Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats owners.
Ranger Tug owners are part of the strongest community on the water and online. There are several ways to connect with other other Ranger Tug fans online, including an owner’s group website called Tugnuts.com where future, current, and past Ranger Tugs owners can swap stories, ideas, and tips. You can also discover loads of fun content by following us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
At the factory, we hear stories weekly about Ranger Tug owners crossing paths while out cruising and coming together to share a meal, an anchorage, or even cruising together. It’s that kind of camaraderie that makes the Ranger Tugs community special and so unique. Below are some examples of the journeys of our community.
The Ranger Tugs Factory hosts a series of cruising events in the Pacific Northwest each year. These events are designed to help our customers learn more about their boats, get comfortable cruising in a group, and to get to know other Ranger Tug owners (and have a ton of fun). The event details listed below are for example only; actual event information will be posted on the events page.
Points North Seminar - In preparation for one of our factory cruises or a special trip of your own, join us for our popular “Points North” seminar. It’s an exciting and informative course that is designed to help make your Ranger Tug ownership experience fun and stress free. We will cover many different topics including anchoring, clearing customs, stern tying, and storage ideas to name a few.
Poets Cove / Ganges Marina Cruise - Put your new factory training to use! This cruise usually takes place in late Spring and meets at Poets Cove or Ganges Marina for a long-weekend adventure in beautiful British Columbia. This is a great cruise for beginners and veterans alike.
Desolation Sound Cruise - The Tugnuts Desolation Sound Cruise is an open-ended adventure in late July which reaches even further north to Desolation Sound where the water is warm, and the scenery is spectacular! This cruise is for first-time boats only. Points North seminar and a previous factory cruise are a prerequisite.
Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats Factory Rendezvous - Join many other Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boat owners just after Labor Day for a long weekend of fun, food, friendship, informative speakers, and of course, the blindfolded dinghy race! Hosted at world famous Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. This is the largest rendezvous in the world with over 200 Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats in attendance. Don’t miss it!
You don’t have to be in the Pacific Northwest to participate in a Ranger Tugs event. There are several rendezvous and get-togethers across the US and Canada each year. Check the events page for the latest listings. If you want to host your own Ranger Tugs gathering, you can let the Tugnuts know on the Cruises & Gatherings forum.
